| Role: Snowflake & Spark Developer Location: Boston , MA ( Onsite Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Snowflake & Spark and Development of data warehouse models in Snowflake to join our team. Technical Expertise: Proficient in Snowflake data warehouse, including its architecture and unique features (virtual warehouses, data sharing, etc.). Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on expertise in both Snowflake and Spark. Proficiency with Snowflake data warehouse, including virtual warehouses, data sharing, and security management. Strong experience with Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala) for distributed data processing and large-scale ETL/ELT workloads. Strong SQL skills for data modeling and transformation in Snowflake. Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Matillion, Informatica) and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating Snowflake within those ecosystems. Knowledge of data governance tools and practices. Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
