| From: jatin parashar, Vyze Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description Title: Senior Cloud Data Warehouse Engineer Location: Boston, MA Onsite (Local candidates only) Visa Requirement: Genuine visa required Moi: Skype + F2F (In-person) Job Duties and Responsibilities: Understand and translate business requirements into Data Warehouse solutions. Create data models and designs to meet business needs, sourcing data from multiple systems. Mentor technical staff in cloud technologies, adjusting communication to various understanding levels. Identify, plan, and assist in migrating on-premises data solutions to the cloud. Code ETL scripts (Oracle, Snowflake, or IICS) to transform data from operational databases to target destinations. Document designs according to industry standards. Monitor and optimize data processing and storage performance in cloud environments; identify bottlenecks, optimize queries, and recommend architectural improvements. Provide query writing support and tuning expertise for analysts and end users. Develop shell/Python scripts to automate production jobs. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 5+ years of experience in database development, including analyzing, designing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing SQL code. Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse applications on AWS. Experience with Airflow. Proficiency in Oracle and Snowflake SQL. Hands-on experience with cloud architectures. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficient in Informatica IICS. Knowledge of version control, especially GitHub. Experience with large, multi-terabyte data warehouses. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with Medicaid, healthcare, or claims processing. Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills. Familiarity with Perl, system administration, database administration, storage architectures, backup & recovery, and networking. Preferred Certifications: AWS Cloud Certification and AWS Certified Solutions Architect. Snowflake Certification. Informatica IICS Certification.
