Certifications: Oracl DBA Required Experience: Experience working with various database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment. Experience as a Database Administrator with Oracle, preferably 19C and Cloud; Experience with database backup procedures and recovery systems; Experience with Oracle tools and utilities, including Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN), Oracle Data Guard, Oracle SQL Developer, and Toad; Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL and ability to write complex queries; Ability to effectively communicate technical information; Ability to work well with system administrators and application developers while troubleshooting issues; and Responsibilities: Installing and maintaining Oracle database software; Identifying and testing database software updates, patches, and Oracle service packs; Creating storage database structures with high-level security features; Setting up database user accounts; Implementing backup and recovery plans to protect that database against data loss and reconstruct the data if loss occurs; Participating in design and planning of database and related database objects; Minimizing database downtime and managing parameters to provide fast query responses; Developing automation scripts for routine tasks; Performing tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity; Maintaining database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; and Writing technical procedures and documents.
