Data Warehouse Tester Remote Contract Job Description: 10+ Years of IT Experince Must have : Minimum 5 years of experience with ETL and data validation testing Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Databricks Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries Description: The DW Tester thoroughly evaluates the software and data products according to the business standards or function requirements. The DW Tester performs advanced technical duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills. The DW tester isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects and verifies fixes. Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the data processes meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.
