Provides full explanations to information reporting, information return preparation and filing inquiries initiated by customers, and through generated notices, or internally generated assignments. Provides technical information to taxpayers on a wide range of information returns, and limited assistance in other tax areas (e.g., filing, underreporting, password reset, and/or other requirements). Provides assistance and guidance to customers on a wide range of information returns and forms including, but not limited to, Forms 1096, 1097, 1098, 1099, 3921, 3922, 5498, 8935,W-2G, W-2 and W-3, either electronically or on paper forms. Assists customers in answering Service-initiated requests on information reporting and filing. Qualifications Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis.
