Position: Application Development Expert Location: 14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, MD 20707 3 days Hybrid Work Auth: USC/GC Duration: 1 year contract Rate: $75/hr on C2C Anticipated Start Date: December 1, 2024 Work Hours: 8 to 5 plus one-hour lunch Work Schedule Hybrid 3 Days in office two days remote Estimated Number of Consultants: 1 Place of Performance:14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, MD 20707 Background check : Yes Vaccination required : No Interview Process/# of Rounds: 1 Job Description: The WSSC IT Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team maintains and supports operation of 23 FileNet applications and 7 Datacap applications, integrates with 3 other systems (GIS, Oracle EBS, and eBuilder), and also implement 4 ~ 6 projects yearly. A new consultant will join the ECM team to work on application support tickets, perform application enhancement and project implementation as a developer. 1.Support FileNet and Datacap application operation, troubleshoot, and resolve incident tickets. 2.Lead new application development and existing application enhancement technical implementation. 3.Responsible for tech solution design, programming, and app deployment. 4.Work with business users on requirements clarification and other application-related matters and status. 5.Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams, Platform, DBA, Network, Security, Help Desk, Change Management, etc. 6.Collaborate with QA team to support application QA and UAT 7.Support system patching, DR exercises, etc. Education: Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university majoring in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field. Master s degree preferred General Experience: At least ten (10) years of professional job-related experience with a bachelor s degree or eight (8) years with a master s degree. Specialized Experience: At least 7 years of hands-on experience with FileNet v.5.x development and administration, including but not limited to: a) IBM Content Navigator (ICN) and custom plug-ins. b) P8 APIs and java application customization. c) Workflow Process Design and Process Administration. d) P8 subscription and event actions. e) P8 ACCE. f) FileNet Deployment Manager (FDM). g) Installation, upgrade, patching, and configuration of FileNet P8 (CPE, CSS, Case Foundation), IBM Content Navigator (ICN), etc. h) SQL, java script, etc. Knowledge and hands-on experience with Datacap v.9.1.x, including but not limited to: i) Datacap Task Master and Task Master Web. j) Datacap RuleRunner. k) Datacap Navigator. l) Datacap Studio. m) Scan and Datacap workflow. n) OCR. o) Integration with FileNet. p) Installation, upgrade, patching, and configuration of IBM Datacap (Task Master, Rule Runner, Task Master Web), etc. Knowledge and experience with SQL Server and Oracle database.
