| Job Title: SAP PLM Functional Consultant Location: Foster City, CA (Remote with travel for workshops) Duration: 4-6 months Position Type: Contract Role Summary: Gilead Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled SAP PLM Functional Consultant to support their Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes. The consultant will play a critical role in configuring and aligning SAP PLM functionalities to meet Gileads specific requirements in the life sciences sector. This role requires deep knowledge of SAP PLM modules, regulatory requirements, and the ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders during on-site workshops, with the flexibility of remote work outside of scheduled workshops. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users to understand and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications for SAP PLM. Module Configuration: Configure SAP PLM modules, particularly Document Management System (DMS), Engineering Change Management (ECM), and Recipe Development, to support Gileads product lifecycle processes. Integration Support: Work closely with technical teams to integrate SAP PLM with other SAP modules (SAP ECC or S/4HANA), ensuring end-to-end data flow and process efficiency. Workshop Participation: Facilitate and participate in on-site workshops in Foster City, CA, to align solutions with Gileads business needs. User Testing & Training: Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), user training, and provide go-live support to ensure smooth adoption of the configured SAP PLM solutions. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure configurations and workflows comply with regulatory standards such as FDA, GxP, and ISO, especially for life sciences applications. Required Qualifications: Experience: 10+ years as an SAP PLM Functional Consultant, with a strong background in lifecycle management processes. SAP PLM Modules Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP PLM modules, including Document Management (DMS), Engineering Change Management (ECM), and Recipe Development. Life Sciences Industry Experience: Prior experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry, with an understanding of regulatory requirements. Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills for business process mapping and excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders. Travel: Willingness to travel to Foster City, CA, for on-site workshops as required. Preferred Qualifications: S/4HANA PLM Experience: Experience with SAP S/4HANA PLM implementations.
