Job Title: SAP Security Project Manager Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 2 or 3 days a week they need to go Office) Duration: 3 Months Contract Job Type: C2C & W2 Visa Status: USC, GC, H1B, H4-EAD, GC-EAD and L2-EAD etc. Experience: 13+ Years No PST Zone or No West Coast (California, Oregon, and Washington, Nevada State Candidates) Job Summary: The SAP Security Project Manager will be responsible for managing SAP security projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure SAP systems across the enterprise. This role involves overseeing the implementation of SAP security solutions, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholders, and ensuring that SAP environments are compliant with corporate security policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical SAP security knowledge and strong project management skills. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus. 10+ years of experience in SAP security roles, with at least 3-5 years of experience managing SAP security projects. Proven experience managing large-scale SAP security implementations or upgrades across multiple modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, GRC). Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC), authorization objects, and Segregation of Duties (SoD). Proficient in managing security risk assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA preferred. Experience with cloud-based SAP security solutions is preferred. Project Management Skills : Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and resources. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with technical teams and business stakeholders. Ability to anticipate potential issues, mitigate risks, and effectively resolve problems. Preferred Qualifications: SAP certification in Security, GRC, or related areas. Experience in managing SAP security projects in a global, multi-site organization.
