Job Description -

Job Title: Technical Product/Program Manager

Location: Englewood, CO

Duration: 6+ months

MOI: Skype

Visa: USC and GC

Note Need Local.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap Development:

             Define and execute the WiFi product roadmap, focusing on next-generation WiFi standards (802.11ax, 802.11be) and emerging technologies (6 GHz WiFi, mesh networking).

             Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and emerging trends in WiFi and wireless connectivity.

             Partner with business stakeholders to align WiFi product strategy with the organization's broader goals, customer expectations, and technology roadmap.

Technical Oversight:

             Oversee the technical design, testing, and implementation of WiFi products, including radios operating in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands.

             Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate advanced features (e.g., MU-MIMO, OFDMA, beamforming) and ensure seamless interoperability across various devices and platforms.

             Ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, focusing on performance, security, and reliability.

Cross-Functional Program Management:

             Lead cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Customer Support, and Operations, to ensure timely product launches.

             Create and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to drive projects through the product lifecycle stages (concept, design, development, testing, deployment).

             Act as the main point of contact between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical information into clear, actionable business insights.

Customer Experience & Performance Optimization:

             Use data analytics to monitor product performance, customer feedback, and network metrics to identify areas for improvement.

             Define KPIs and analyze WiFi usage data to ensure products meet performance standards and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

             Manage troubleshooting, customer support, and continuous improvement processes to maintain high product quality.

Vendor & Partner Management:

             Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to integrate new features, hardware components, and software updates.

             Oversee third-party partnerships, ensuring all integrations and developments align with Charters quality and performance standards.

Qualifications :

             Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Networking, or a similar discipline

             5+ years as a technical program manager or product manager within telecommunications, WiFi technologies, or network services

             Extensive knowledge of 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi frequencies

             Hands-on experience with WiFi protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, WiFi 6/6E, and emerging WiFi 7), radio frequencies, and wireless security standards (WPA2, WPA3).

             Deep understanding of RF Fundamentals, WiFi standards, and wireless networking technologies

             Familiarity with data analytics, performance monitoring tools, and customer experience metrics

             Proficiency in JIRA, Sharepoint, and MS Office 

             Excellent Communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to a non-technical audience

             Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak in English

             Experience in an Agile environment is desired

             Certifications such as a CWNP, CWNA, CWAP, CCNA, CCNP, and/or PMP are desired.
