Job Title: DevOps Engineer (ServiceNow & ITSM) Work Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Contract Duration: Long Term Minimum years of experience required: 9+ years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating DevOps practices within our ServiceNow platform, enhancing ITSM processes, and ensuring efficient deployment and management of IT services. Your collaboration with development, operations, and IT teams will be crucial for driving improvements and delivering value to our organization. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines specifically for ServiceNow applications and ITSM processes. Collaborate with IT teams to automate workflows and improve service delivery through ServiceNow. Configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow ITSM modules (e.g., Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management). Monitor and troubleshoot ServiceNow environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Develop automation scripts using languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python to enhance ITSM processes. Work with cloud infrastructure and services to support ServiceNow integrations and deployments. Ensure compliance with IT governance and security policies within the ServiceNow environment. Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, configurations, and deployment procedures. Participate in Agile methodologies and promote best practices within the team. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on ServiceNow and ITSM practices. In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its ITSM capabilities. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI/CD). Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PowerShell). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
