Mostly financial uses Flink Financial <-- Probably you will find someone in financial with these skills Ibor or Abor (accounting Book of records) Kafka is required, real time messaging They use oracle and Arora for the data bases, Any SQL RDBMS query <---MUST BE VERY STRONG IN THIS They have a team of 7 people, integrated with the rest of the team,. Newport Beach, some off shore and some REVERSE ENGINEER SHOULD BE on the project. Not waterfall, they are objective focused. Newport Beach is required. HYBRID Newport Beach - 4 days a week and 1 day at home. Places to get candidates from Western Assets people looking to jump Capital Group. LOOK AT OTHER Financial Industry (investment firms / asset management firms / not retail) in Newport Beach / Orange County OPEN TO RELOCATION. But willing to do remote until they move. INTERVIEW PROCESS FOR THIS ROLE Technical interview amongst the team Logical interview problem solving and algorithms. (a lot of the team is off shore - 2 to 3 shores) Right now they are focused on on prem work, on an annual basis 50/50 of the cloud on a year basis. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Senior Software Developer We are looking for a Java Developer to join the positions team and join a team developing software on-prem and in the cloud to capture trading transactions and calculate positions for the firm. You will work closely with the business and other team members as a senior player to develop efficient solutions and support others in understanding and solving complex. Position Requirements: 15+ years of programming, with at least 5+ years of Java required. 5+ years of experience building cloud native applications with AWS. Used Spring and Apache libraries and other large open source libraries. Experience with complex technology stacks. Experience with Kafka and real-time messaging systems. Minimum of 2 years experience with Apache Flink. Expert SQL/Database Query experience required. Financial Services experience is desired. Strong analytical ability to learn independently from the code / reverse engineer Ability to work well independently and in cross-functional teams Excellent written and oral communication skills Deep understanding is desired.
