The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of data management and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Required Skills: Certifications Required : IBM Certified Solution Developer - InfoSphere DataStage v11.3 or equivalent. Responsibilities : Design and develop data integration solutions using IBM Infosphere Datastage to meet business requirements Oversee the implementation of data integration projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget Provide technical expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements Develop and maintain data models and data flow diagrams to support data integration efforts Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in a timely manner. Document data integration processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation Provide training and support to junior team members on data integration best practices Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data integration technologies Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration processes and methodologies Qualifications: Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in data integration using IBM Infosphere Datastage. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Show proficiency in data modeling and data flow diagramming. Have a solid understanding of ETL processes and best practices Be experienced in troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues Be capable of optimizing ETL processes for performance and scalability Have experience in providing training and support to team members Be skilled in documenting technical processes and maintaining documentation. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data integration technologies. Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model. Have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality. Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
