| From: Abhishek, VBeyond Corp [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Power Platform Architect Location: TX (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Overview: Our organization is seeking an experienced Power Platform Architect who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing solutions on Microsofts Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, as well as experience in integrating these tools with other Microsoft and third-party systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex digital transformations. Key Responsibilities: Architecting Solutions: Design scalable, secure, and innovative Power Platform solutions tailored to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency. Platform Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents to drive platform adoption and usage. Integration: Develop strategies for integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flows and interoperability. Governance & Best Practices: Establish governance frameworks and best practices for Power Platform usage, focusing on data security, user permissions, and compliance. Custom Development: Oversee the creation of custom connectors, workflows, and Power BI reports, as well as extend solutions through Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) and Azure Functions. Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of developers and analysts, sharing knowledge and ensuring adherence to architectural principles and standards. Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to estimate project timelines, prioritize deliverables, and ensure successful project delivery. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all solution designs, processes, and integrations, ensuring easy knowledge transfer and compliance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Experience: 8+ years in IT, with at least 4 years working directly with Power Platform; experience in similar architect roles is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Skilled in Microsoft Dataverse, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 environments. Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and other data integration methods. Familiarity with PCF and other custom development frameworks for Power Platform. Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, are preferred. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities; strong project management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience implementing Power Platform solutions across multiple regions or industries. Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices within Power Platform.
