Security processes: Develop security processes Best practices: Develop and maintain documentation for database schemas, procedures, and best practices Standards: Verify that all database programs adhere to the organizations and performance standards. Database performance: Assess the effectiveness and performance of database systems and applications Requirements and Skills: 5-7 years of experience working in Oracle and DB2 Databases. Proven work experience as a Database developer. In-depth understanding of data management (e.g., discovery, analysis, transformation, data quality, security, and monitoring). SQL Tuning techniques to prevent performance degradation and an understanding of how to use the Explain Plan/Query Analyzer/Optimization Tool are required. Knowledge of software development and Agile delivery methodology. Proficiency in working with specific databases like DB2, Oracle & SQL servers. Working knowledge of ETL processes and tools (i.e., Informatica for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into existing databases) Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
