Job Title: Business Analyst Care Cost Estimator Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Industry: Healthcare Insurance Exp: 10+ Note: PP number is mandatory even though its GC Job Overview: We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) with experience in healthcare cost estimation to support projects related to care cost estimators. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with procedure codes (HCPCS), diagnosis codes (ICD), and place of treatment details. This role requires a strong understanding of mapping procedure codes to benefit summaries and plan information,ensuring accurate alignment with insurance benefits. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, map, and validate procedure codes (HCPCS) with benefit summaries and plan details. Interpret and translate benefit summaries to understand coverage rules for different procedures and diagnoses. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the care cost estimator reflects accurate and real-time information. Work with healthcare data, including diagnosis codes (ICD) and place of treatment specifications. Assist in designing and implementing solutions to improve care cost estimations. Create process documentation, workflows, and mapping documents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business operations, and insurance carriers. Required Skills & amp; Experience: Strong experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare or insurance industry. Strong knowledge of procedure codes (HCPCS/CPT), diagnosis codes (ICD-10), and healthcare data standards. Experience in reading and interpreting benefit summaries and plan documents. Familiarity with healthcare plans, insurance products, and cost estimators. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in data mapping and validation techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
