Please let me know your in the below role- Role: Senior Program Manager Workforce Strategy Location: Chicago, IL ( 3 days/week in-office, must be in Illinois) Duration: 6 months contract to hire Visa: USC and GC Interview: Video LinkedIn Profile Role Overview: As a Senior Program Manager, you will be instrumental in driving our workforce strategy over the next three years, working directly with CIOs and their management teams to align workforce needs with business objectives. This role demands an experienced, strategic thinker with strong program management skills and exceptional communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage a detailed project plan to ensure timely execution of workforce initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Adapt plans to address changes in priorities or risks. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with CIOs, Technology managers, Finance, and HR to deliver on hiring plans, facilitating regular updates and adjustments as needed. Tracking & Reporting: Create and maintain reporting mechanisms for hiring, onboarding, and workforce metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership and identifying potential bottlenecks. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between Technology, HR, and Finance, translating workforce needs into actionable plans while effectively communicating progress and challenges. Risk Management: Proactively identify risks related to workforce capacity and financial constraints, collaborating with leaders to mitigate them. Program Delivery: Leverage delivery experience to ensure milestones are met on time, within scope, and aligned with financial targets. Communication: Provide clear and effective communications to various stakeholders, including executive leadership, across written, oral, and presentation formats. Financial Acumen: Monitor budget implications, analyze workforce optimization opportunities, and utilize financial forecasting and risk mitigation strategies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, HR, Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred). Minimum of 10 years in program or project management, ideally in large Technology or financial services environments. Proven experience with cross-functional teams to execute large-scale workforce initiatives. Experience in large-scale hiring initiatives within a global or multi-site organization. Skills: Strong understanding of technology workforce dynamics, including talent acquisition and capacity planning. Familiarity with financial forecasting, budget management, and workforce planning risk mitigation. Proactive, results-driven mindset capable of thriving under pressure. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive collaboration. Demonstrated track record of managing complex programs, delivering results on time and within budget. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on timely solutions. Proficiency in project management tools.
