Role: Enterprise Architect Location: Dallas, TX Job Summary: Enterprise Architect will lead the design and architecture of large scale software systems to meet the company's strategic objectives. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, creating architectural models, and guiding development teams through the implementation process. Architecture Design: Develop and document high-level architectural designs and strategies for enterprise software solutions. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business leaders, product managers, and IT teams to understand requirements and ensure the architecture aligns with business goals. Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms to support the architecture and address organizational needs. Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices, design patterns, and standards for software development and integration. Solution Integration: Oversee the integration of new systems with existing infrastructure and ensure compatibility and scalability. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in architecture and design and propose mitigation strategies. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and design documents. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and practices. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, and continuously improve the architecture based on new insights and feedback. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred). Experience: Extensive experience in software architecture, design, and development, with a strong understanding of enterprise-level applications and systems. Technical Skills: Proficiency in various programming languages, software development methodologies, and architectural frameworks. Experience with cloud computing, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns is often required. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically about complex software systems. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
