| Job Title: Performance Test Engineer Oracle EBS Location: Raleigh, North Carolina Experience: 11+Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer with a strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or similar Enterprise Business Solutions, focusing on testing for web applications, web services, and SQL Server. This role requires expertise in HP testing tools and experience in R12 upgrade projects.Key Responsibilities: Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing across Oracle EBS or related EBS systems, particularly for web applications, web services, and SQL Server. Execute tests in R12 upgrade projects, with at least one project experience as a mandatory requirement. Testing Tool Expertise: Utilize HP testing tools, including LoadRunner, QuickTest Professional, WinRunner, and Performance Center. Design and implement load and performance tests for high availability and efficient system operations. Technical Test Plan Development: Develop and maintain technical performance test plans. Create data-driven test automation scripts for performance and load testing. Execution and Data Preparation: Design and execute daily load build verification tests (BVTs) and larger, system-level tests. Prepare and manage test data for load and performance test execution. Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data collected from performance tests, identify issues, and report findings. Log defects and monitor their resolution. Performance Strategy and Test Plan Development: Define objectives, scope, and performance testing requirements. Develop a performance test strategy and manage test environments. Performance Monitoring and Root Cause Analysis: Consistently apply monitoring metrics to evaluate service level agreements and objectives. Identify performance obstructions, root causes, and propose corrective actions. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and accuracy. Maintain testing artifacts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.Technical Requirements: Experience in Testing Tools: HP LoadRunner, QuickTest Professional, WinRunner, and Performance Center. Testing Methodologies: Understanding of agile and waterfall testing methodologies. Test Management Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Quality Center, or TestRail. Project Experience: At least one R12 upgrade project experience is mandatory. Data Analysis and Reporting: Skilled in data analysis and generating performance test reports.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years in performance testing, specifically with Oracle EBS or similar systems.
