Evaluate and implement security controls and measures to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential threats. Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends, and adapt our security posture accordingly. Threat Intelligence: Possess a deep understanding of cyber threat actor techniques, tools, and tactics, such as malware, common attack types, evasion techniques, reconnaissance, scanning, exploitation, lateral movement, persistence, and exploits. Leverage MITRE ATT&CK framework to analyze and respond to threats effectively. Security Operations: Gain insights into security operations center processes, tools, and data for analysis, control, and mitigation. Conduct in-depth security event timeline analysis and baselining. Analyze logs and data to develop and implement custom detections to counter attacker techniques, known vulnerabilities, and evasion methods. Technical Skills: Proficient in network data sources, including full packet analysis, flow data, DNS logs, proxy logs, NIDS, etc. Strong knowledge and experience with scripting languages and tools like Python, PowerShell, Bash, and YAML. Qualifications: 4-6 years of experience in security architecture and engineering. Strong understanding of network security concepts and protocols. Deep knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM. Experience with security operations and incident response. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA (preferred).
