Collaborate with Team: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Optimize Code: Refactor and optimize existing Perl code to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. Database Management: Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including writing and optimizing SQL queries. System Integration: Develop and maintain integration with third-party systems and APIs. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, systems, and processes. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner. Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in Perl development and other relevant technologies. Required Qualifications: Experience: 8+ of experience in Perl development. Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Perl programming. Experience with relational databases and SQL. Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems. Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git. Understanding of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Catalyst or Dancer is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills.
