EXP: 10+ Years Must Job Description / Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with strong expertise in testing applications on AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and executing test plans for cloud-based applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and functionality standards. You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to create and implement robust testing strategies that support our cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, leveraging automation and best practices to deliver reliable software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for applications hosted on AWS Cloud to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance. Perform various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, and security) specifically tailored to cloud environments. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to understand requirements, architecture, and technical designs for cloud-based applications. Identify, document, and track defects, performing root cause analysis and following through on resolutions. Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation) to create and manage test environments, ensuring scalability and reliability of test infrastructures. Utilize testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies, including automation and CI/CD pipelines, to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Implement automated tests for cloud-based applications using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and cloud-based testing solutions. Monitor application performance on AWS, using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools, to identify and resolve issues proactively. Ensure applications meet AWS security best practices by testing for vulnerabilities, compliance, and data security. Provide clear and concise test documentation, reports, and communicate testing outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on applications hosted on AWS Cloud. Proficiency in AWS Cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch) and understanding of cloud-based testing strategies. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, and cloud testing tools. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline) to integrate testing into the deployment pipeline. Strong understanding of security and performance testing in cloud environments, including knowledge of AWS security best practices. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, are highly desirable.
