Role Description This is a contract hybrid role for a SAP MDG/MDM at YemPover Inc for one of its Clients (a Tech Giant) located in TX, CA, and NC in the United States. We are willing to transfer the H1B Visa to the right candidate. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as business process analysis, consulting on SAP MDG / MDM, and managing master data. This role is on-site, and the consultant needs to be flexible enough to work on-site in TX, CA, or NC. Qualifications 8+ years of genuine experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG). Hands-on experience with SAP MDG implementations for key data domains (customer, vendor, material, finance). Experience in data migration, data quality, and integration projects with SAP ECC or S/4HANA. Strong knowledge of SAP MDG (Data Models, UI Modifications, BRF+, Workflows, Data Quality). Experience in data migration tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, and ETL processes. ABAP development knowledge for customizing MDG solutions. Familiarity with Fiori apps and SAP UI5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business Lead and participate in the design, implementation, and configuration of SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. Define data models and governance processes for key master data domains such as material, customer, vendor, and finance. Work with functional and technical teams to integrate MDG/MDM with SAP ERP, S/4HANA, or third-party systems. Master Data Governance & Strategy: Establish data governance frameworks and processes to ensure high data quality and compliance. Develop and implement policies for data stewardship, data ownership, and data quality management. Define workflows and approval processes for master data creation, modification, and deletion. Data Migration & Quality Management: Develop and execute strategies for master data migration from legacy systems to SAP MDM/MDG. Ensure data cleansing, de-duplication, and enrichment to maintain high-quality master data. Use SAP Data Services and other ETL tools to manage large volumes of data migration. Work on the integration of MDG with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and FI/CO (Finance/Controlling). Develop Fiori apps or UI enhancements to improve user experience in MDG processes. Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for master data management and governance. Perform gap analysis, define master data governance KPIs, and suggest improvements for existing processes. Documentation & Training: Prepare detailed functional and technical documentation including blueprints, configuration guides, and process flows. Conduct training sessions for business users and data stewards on MDG processes and best practices. Support & Troubleshooting: Provide post-implementation support and resolve any issues related to master data management. Monitor system performance, manage system upgrades, and ensure compliance with data governance frameworks. Troubleshoot issues related to master data processes and maintain data integrity across systems.
