| Job Title: .NET Backend Developer Location: Bay Area-CA (Hybrid) Duration: 6+month Position Overview: As a .NET Backend Developer, you will be a key contributor to our back-end services, APIs, and data processing infrastructure. You will work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver performant, reliable, and secure applications. This role requires strong expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem, with an emphasis on building scalable and efficient backend systems. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain efficient back-end services, APIs, and integrations using .NET Core and C#. Design and implement database structures and optimize queries to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to define API contracts and support feature development. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices in software design and architecture. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency. Work with DevOps to ensure proper deployment and monitoring of services in production environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on .NET Core, C#, and RESTful API design. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Technical Skills .NET Core/C#: Deep expertise in .NET Core and C# programming, including knowledge of asynchronous programming, LINQ, and design patterns. Database Management: Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORMs like Entity Framework or Dapper. API Development: Proficient in building RESTful APIs, understanding best practices for authentication, error handling, and versioning. Cloud Environments: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including deploying and managing back-end services. Unit Testing: Knowledge of unit testing frameworks, such as NUnit or xUnit, and an emphasis on test-driven development.
