| Job Title: GCP Data Engineers Sunnyvale CA / Hoboken New jersey Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using GCP tools like Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub. Data Modeling: Develop and optimize data models for analytical and operational use. ETL Processes: Create ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into GCP. Data Warehousing: Implement and manage data warehousing solutions using BigQuery. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data availability. Data Quality: Monitor data quality and implement validation and testing procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity. Performance Optimization: Optimize queries and data storage for performance and cost efficiency. Documentation: Maintain documentation of data architecture, pipelines, and processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: Proven experience in data engineering, particularly with GCP tools and services. Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. BigQuery Expertise: Strong understanding of BigQuery and experience with SQL. Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud concepts and services, specifically GCP. Data Management: Experience with data modeling and ETL processes. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills: Data Security: Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance standards. Machine Learning: Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools in GCP. Other Tools: Experience with Apache Kafka, Airflow, or other data orchestration tools.
