Role: Scrum Master Location: Downtown Houston, Texas- Need Only Locals Hybrid(3 Days work from office and 2 days remote from day 1) Duration: 12+ Months **ONLY LOCALS PREFERRED** Scrum Master Job Description: The Scrum Masters will serve as a servant leader and coach for the Agile team, collaborating closely with the Product Owner and team members. They will facilitate team events, manage capacity, and provide visibility on delivery commitments. Additionally, they will participate in Quarterly Planning and collaborate with the Platform Scrum Master and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Below are the details Preferred Skills and Qualifications Experience with SCRUM and Kanban. Responsibilities Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes for the team including daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and ability to support Quarterly Planning. Identify and collaborate on the resolution of impediments for the team. Enable continuous improvement by following up on feedback from Retrospectives. Provide status updates including risks, actions, issues and dependencies to stakeholders. Ensure adherence of the backlog to the platform vision, mission, OKRs and product roadmaps. Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field. Experience working with IT. Agile Scrum Master certification or equivalent. Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools like Jira and Confluence. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master. Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
