The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data architecture, visualization, and analytics, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the overall Power BI architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Data Modeling: Design and implement data models to optimize performance and usability in Power BI reports and dashboards. ETL Processes: Oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources into Power BI. Dashboard Development: Create visually appealing and intuitive dashboards and reports that meet business requirements. Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into technical specifications. Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for Power BI development, including governance, data quality, and documentation. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and data visualization best practices. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI solutions, addressing any issues that arise. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Power BI Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful Power BI implementations. Expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data visualization techniques. Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake). Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced analytics. Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
