The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and supporting voice applications, telephony solutions, call routing, and contact center platforms. This role will involve building and optimizing core Genesys systems, managing telephony infrastructure, and enhancing customer experience through innovative voice and call center technologies.Responsibilities: Voice Application Development: Design, build, and maintain IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and other voice applications on the Genesys framework. Implement chatbots, voicebots, and self-service solutions integrated with telephony platforms. Telephony Solutions Engineering: Develop and maintain telephony infrastructure, including SIP, VoIP, PBX, and softphone systems. Configure and troubleshoot call flows, telephony networks, and API integrations with external systems. Routing and Core Development: Develop and optimize call routing logic for Genesys contact centers to ensure seamless and efficient call distribution. Implement least-cost routing (LCR), dynamic routing, and multi-site call handling for optimized performance. Telephony & Contact Center Operations: Collaborate with operations teams to manage Genesys Cloud, PureConnect, or Engage platforms. Monitor telephony systems, ensuring high availability, minimal downtime, and prompt issue resolution.Required Skills: Genesys Suite: PureConnect, or Engage platforms. Telephony Solutions: In-depth knowledge of VoIP, SIP, PBX systems, and telephony infrastructure. Routing Expertise: Strong understanding of call routing strategies (ACD, IVR, and LCR). Programming Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript, WebRTC, JSON, and REST APIs. Systems Integration: Experience integrating CRM and ERP systems with contact centers. Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with Twilio, Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, and other telephony tools. Communication Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across IT, operations, and customer service teams.
