| From: Vinita Singh, Tek Inspirations [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - POWER BI Developer (migration project exp) 6 months Remote No H1/CPT/OPT Phone/Skype Need Candidates who is having a Proven experience (11+ years) Key Responsibilities: Lead the migration of multiple legacy reports, files, and dashboards into Power BI, ensuring data integrity and efficient performance. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations that align with business objectives. Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the migration project. Use DAX and Power Query to transform and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring seamless migration and scalability. Work closely with the data engineering team to create data pipelines, ETL processes, and optimize existing data models. Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions to ensure smooth transition and adoption of Power BI across teams. Provide training and documentation to stakeholders on the new reports and Power BI functionalities. Ensure timely delivery of migrated reports and dashboards, adhering to project timelines. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and propose improvements to the reporting environment post-migration. Qualifications: Proven experience (11+ years) as a Power BI Developer, with a strong track record of migrating legacy reports into Power BI. Proficient in DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Desktop/Service, especially in the context of complex migrations. Strong experience with SQL and database technologies such as SQL Server, Azure, or other cloud databases. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Demonstrated experience in integrating Power BI with other Microsoft tools and technologies (Excel, SharePoint, etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve data migration challenges. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams during migration. Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in migration projects within the airline or transportation industry. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or other cloud-based solutions.
