Create, update and integrate existing or new GIS data layers using a variety of software. Coordinate with other technicians and analysts in various projects have a geospatial component. Provide technical expertise in support of District agencies, personnel, and users consumption of GIS products, services and data. Support Ad-Hoc requests from various DC Agencies to develop Geospatial Products and Supporting Documentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Job Requirements: Analyses, designs, develops, implements, and supports enterprise complex projects. CDSLLC Use or disclosure of this data is subject to the restrictions on the title page of this proposal or quotation. Interfaces with other offices; consults with and inform user departments on system requirements; and resolves problems and operating difficulties for the current and future enhancements to Districts system. Participates in problem resolution related to system design and implementation review. Recommends approval of functional and technical design documents and implementation of systems, program enhancements and updates of applications. Analyzes and evaluates system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and back-up procedures. Works on the development of new systems, as well as upgrades and enhancements to existing systems; and ensures systems are in compliance with approved standards. Develops complex programs and reports in database query language.
