Based on the complexity of hardware resources. Bugfix, enhancement and new small feature releases for broadband devices. Languages: Programming knowledge is must like scripting/python. C/C++ is a plus. Networking: TCP/IP, DHCP, IPV4, IPV6, Iptables, Firewall, bridging, VLAN. Protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SSH OS: Linux The candidate MUST have good understanding of networking concept and Gateway functionality. The candidate should be able to recreate field issues by creating environmental setups. Should be able to lead offshore test engineers and help them with automation. Sprint validation planning and test architectures. Good understanding of Linux internals and debugging capabilities. Maintenance releases for deployed devices, including bug fixes, dev triage or QA and field reported issues. Based on the complexity of hardware resources. Bugfix, enhancement and new small feature releases for broadband devices to include Technicolor XB8, Technicolor XB7and all future devices. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 6 - 9 years of programming/systems analysis experience. Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organizations architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy versus build recommendations. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
