MUST be local to NYC, 1-2/days on-site per week. Must have old LinkedIn from 2020 & personal contact details!FOCUS is C#, Angular, SQL, python a plus Get to Know the Opportunity: Software Developer role to build a new data platform for Asset Management. Member of a technology team of Data and Analytics professionals who work directly with the business to build the future state operating model of Voya Investment Management. We need a person who can develop front to back with strong skills for middle-layer and API development on Microsoft stack. The Contributions You'll Make: Develop new systems and maintain and modify existing systems as required. Participate in process analysis, design, implementations, and commissioning phases. Prepares technical specifications and design specifications. Provide support in system acceptance testing and validation activities. Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs. Analyze project requirements and accordingly provide technical and functional recommendations. Facilitates continuous process improvements within the team. Recommend new technologies to improve system performance and reliability to senior leadership. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Knowledge & Experience: Software engineering and development experience required. Experience across multiple platforms/technologies and languages including C#, Angular, SQL Overall knowledge of various aspects of data engineering (databases, cloud data, data migration, data modeling, and middle layer architectures.) Investment Management background required. Experience in building data analytics applications. Experience in large-scale integrated online RDBMSs across multiple hardware and software platforms. Experience in new computing architectures and implementation of networked computing structures, APIs, and User Interfaces. Experience developing Unix, and/or Windows based applications, strong component, process and agile development methodologies. Minimum Knowledge & Experience: 5+ years of complex (multi-tiered) software development experience Programming, Database and Software systems experience in a financial environment.
