Please review the below job description and let me know your interest by replying to this email with an updated resume and a convenient time/number to discuss You can reach me at 214-892-2994 (or) through email at [email protected] IT/ OT Network Engineer Muskegon, MI - ONSITE 5 days a week 3 - 6 months with potential of extension *Hiring Team looking for someone with a strong background in system administration or system engineering, coupled with a base knowledge of networking* Must Have's: 1. IT experienced with windows server knowledge, VMWare virtualization and ideally some firewall/networking Awareness of Quality Assurance Processes and GAMP and IT Security/cybersecurity. 2. Good knowledge of routing, switching and bridging protocols such as BGP, RIP, VLANs, etc. 3. Good knowledge and understanding of network design including switches, firewalls, and security (Cisco and Palo Alto) JD: Support design of servers and network infrastructure for client projects. Install, configure, and maintain new / existing network infrastructure hardware, including configuration of virtual networks. Assist with the implementation of new/upgraded systems and/or virtualization. Perform Qualification testing on new / existing systems. Disaster Recovery testing Build of Host Server and failover Clusters Knowledge of Antivirus & Security, Active Directory, Time Syncronization and Backup & Recovery Set up Remote Access setup Support FAT with Customer Support site commissioning in Muskegon Support Vendor with installation and connection to OT Services (MES, PI, Data Analytics, DCS, PLC/SCADA) Additional: Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Server and Workstation Operating Systems (Server 2008/2012/2016, Microsoft Windows 7/10) and Linux/Container technologies. Experience working with Hyper-V, VMWare desired. Good knowledge of wireless technology including design and deployment. Excellent opportunity for a hands-on role with a collaborative client and supported by our strong internal OT engineer team. This is strongly an IT role. There is interaction of OT systems, but IT skills are primarily needed. Desired soft skills: Support & Troubleshooting Skills; Good Communication Skills; Excellent organizational skills; Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks; Availability to work outside office hours when the need arises.
