| Canada Req - Hiring: Big Data Consultant - Toronto, ON, Canada. Requirement 3 POSITIONS Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. Contract: Long Term Rate: Open / hr JD: We have 3 Big Data requirements and JD as follows. We have 1 VMS profile from us that client is interviewing and nothing else at this point. We require immediate supply from you Hybrid Toronto location. Onsite 1st Opportunity (AML): 2 Positions Experience in Programming languages (Java, Scala, SQL, Unix scripting), Spark, frameworks (Spring boot, OpenShift containers), DevOps (Jenkins, UCD etc.) and Cloud (Azure, AWS etc.) Undergraduate degree coupled with technology development experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities. Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong inter-personal and presentation skills. Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities. A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry. Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously. 2nd opportunity (CS Programs): 1 Position Must Have: 5+ years application development experience in Hadoop, Spark and Java/Scala. 5+ years application development experience in Java and Spring Framework 5+ years in developing and optimizing Big Data applications using Java/Scala and Spark on Cloudera/HDP. Experience in developing/designing micro-service architecture. Extensive experience in one of the cloud providers AWS/Azure and migrating large scale complex projects from on-prem to Cloud including in-between hybrid options Proven hands-on experience in containerization Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift etc. Experience in developing applications in Spring & Spring Boot Programming experience in Python (2+ years) Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, CI/CD pipelines Ability to work with multiple stakeholders business and technical Nice to Have: Experience in building end to end data pipelines on AWS/Azure and/or Databricks Knowledge in Market Risk/Capital Markets/Banking.
