Design scalable data models and optimize data warehouse performance. Data Integration and ETL: Create and manage ETL processes to load data into Snowflake using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and S3. Implement data transformations and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of data pipelines. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize Snowflake queries, including the use of proper data clustering and indexing techniques. Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and improve query response times. Collaboration: Work with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to understand data needs and ensure seamless integration of Snowflake solutions. Collaborate on designing data marts, data lakes, and other data storage solutions. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices within Snowflake, including role-based access control and data encryption. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for data models, ETL pipelines, and Snowflake setup. Provide training and support to other team members on Snowflake best practices.Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Snowflake, including performance tuning, data loading, and schema design. Proficiency with AWS services, especially S3, Glue, Lambda, and IAM. Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Talend, or Informatica. Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and extraction. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.Experience: 3+ years of experience in Snowflake development. 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and ETL processes on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
