In this role, you will lead efforts to design, implement, and manage security solutions that protect our networks, systems, and data. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and a proven track record of managing complex security environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive security architectures and solutions to mitigate risks across the organization. Conduct advanced threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify and address potential weaknesses. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Oversee incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all phases of system development and deployment. Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions. Mentor and train junior security staff on security best practices, threat detection, and incident response techniques. Stay abreast of emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on security posture, incidents, and remediation efforts for stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Masters degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on security engineering and architecture. In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Expertise in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, DLP, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems). Proven experience in incident response, threat hunting, and forensic analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar credentials. Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
