Job Title: Oracle OPERA/PMS Architect Location: Orlando, FL Job Type: Contract Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle OPERA/PMS Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the Oracle OPERA Property Management System (PMS) for our hospitality operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of hotel management systems, strong technical skills, and a proven track record in system architecture and integration. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Oracle OPERA/PMS solutions tailored to the specific needs of the organization and its clients. Lead the architecture and deployment of OPERA systems, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, Revenue Management Systems). Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and technical designs. Provide expertise in system configuration, customization, and optimization of OPERA modules including Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, and Reporting. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and performance standards are met. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the OPERA system and related integrations. Develop and maintain system documentation, including architectural diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures. Stay updated on Oracle OPERA updates, best practices, and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Hospitality Management, or a related field. 11+ years of experience with Oracle OPERA/PMS systems, including at least 5 years in an architectural or lead role. Strong understanding of hospitality operations and property management workflows. Proficiency in Oracle databases and related technologies. Experience with system integrations and data migration processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Oracle certifications related to OPERA or property management systems. Experience with cloud-based solutions and hospitality industry trends.
