These are areas of assessment: Tell me about a project in detail in which you have migrated data from one source to another Who were the business stakeholders, where was the data being collected and stored, how was the data structured, what were the data systems used What was the scale of the project What was your specific role in the project (they are looking for a candidate who owned the project, not just did some part like simple data cleansing) Tell me about your approach and experiences in building data pipelines Tell me about your projects and experiences combining data assets from across multiple parts of the business, who may be using different platforms, into one data source (ideally into Snowflake) Tell me about your data migration and modernization experiences Client is assisting their coustomer in standing up a Snowflake environment so when you look at the questions being asked above, all of this is essentially pointing to a seasoned data engineer who has owned the project task of building data pipelines, interfaced with the business stakeholders across the business, assessing data systems of where and what, and leading the modernization and migration of the data into one sourcein this case Snowflake. The objective is to enrich the data visibility, usability, and eliminate technical debt, redundancy, and inefficiency.
