Integration with AWS Services: Implement Lambda functions to interact with other AWS services such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS. API Development: Create RESTful APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway, ensuring secure and scalable data access. Event-Driven Architectures: Develop event-driven architectures that leverage AWS Lambda functions to respond to changes in databases, message queues, or storage events. Optimize Performance: Write efficient and optimized code to ensure minimal latency and cost-efficiency within the AWS environment, leveraging the pay-as-you-go model. Monitor and Debug: Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling practices using tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, or third-party services to ensure high availability and fault tolerance. Security: Apply security best practices for AWS Lambda, including managing secrets, encrypting sensitive data, and implementing IAM roles and policies to control access. Automation and CI/CD: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for serverless applications using AWS tools like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy or third-party solutions like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Documentation and Collaboration: Create and maintain technical documentation for serverless applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Frontend, Backend) to ensure cohesive solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience with AWS Lambda: 2-5+ years of hands-on experience developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda. Proficiency in Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in one or more languages supported by AWS Lambda, such as Python, Node.js, Java, Go, or C#. AWS Services Expertise: Familiarity with key AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC. Event-Driven Development: Experience building event-driven architectures and using Lambda with AWS services like SQS, SNS, Kinesis, or EventBridge. API Development: Experience developing and securing REST APIs with API Gateway and Lambda. CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools for automating the build, testing, and deployment of Lambda functions. Security Best Practices: Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and secure API development.
