| Role: VDH Business Analyst 2 (749290) Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 8 Months Rate: $50/hr on c2c Max No OPTs Description: 1. General Job Description This position is responsible for enterprise-wide business analysis of web applications for the Office of Information Management (OIM) and its customers. This position will work closely with multiple stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and development teams to document business requirements, coordinate with cross functional team members. Create documentation such as design specifications, release planning, create test plan and test scripts. Work closely with the development team for all system changes. Perform end to end testing and document results. The Business Analyst will report to the Systems Manager and closely collaborate with the project manager to ensure business requirements, enhancements, modifications, and newly identified business initiatives are thoroughly documented for successful implementation of Information Technology solutions. Skill Required years req Years Used Last Used Knowledge of relational databases, system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, quality assurance techniques, and change management procedures. Required 5 Demonstrates skill in project planning, requirements gathering, business analysis, business process mapping, procedural writing, process engineering. Required 5 Demonstrates problem-solving, active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution, group visitation, written and oral communication. Required 5 Demonstrates organization and time management, and presentation skills. Required 5 Able to manage, coordinate, and prioritize multiple activities concurrently with limited supervision & to adjust efficiently changing priorities. Required 5 Knowledge of business process engineering methods. Required 5 Knowledge and experience using multiple project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile. Required 5 Ability to blend methodologies together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment. Required 5 Must be able to operate effectively in a changing environment with multiple priorities. Required 5 Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow-through. Required 5 Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Required 5 Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands. Required 5 Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Required 5 Experience with Healthcare Information Systems. Desired 2 Experience performing systems analysis, architecting technical solutions, and/or coordinating application development projects. Desired 2 Experience or knowledge with the Commonwealth of Virginia Information Security Standard, SEC 530. Nice to have 1 Experience working with ServiceNow or Salesforce.
