Please let me know if you are Interested or have any references for the position below and feel free to reach me at +1 732-454-1011 Job Title: SAP Security consultant Location: Remote Contract Job Overview: The SAP Security Implementation Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security architecture within SAP environments. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to ensure SAP systems are secure, compliant, and optimized for performance. The primary focus will be on implementing user roles, authorizations, and ensuring compliance with industry security standards. Responsibilities: Security Architecture & Design : Design and implement SAP security strategies across SAP modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, GRC). Define role-based access controls (RBAC) and segregation of duties (SoD) to minimize security risks. Customize and configure SAP security parameters based on business and compliance requirements. Implementation & Configuration : Implement SAP security roles and authorizations for new SAP implementations or enhancements. Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role assignments. Collaborate with project teams to integrate security requirements into overall project plans. Configure SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) modules to manage and mitigate risks. Assist in the development of security policies and procedures for SAP environments. Make the prescribed changes in QA/Prod, Be able to provide security role data for review (roles/profiles/authorization objects, etc.), Be available for project team calls, able to work in US Central timelines Manage Change transport management, segregation of production / quality / dev environment, system configuration (control on unauthorized access or change, password parameters etc.), change in system configuration during audit period, management of default IDs, control of development access in production, runtime debug access, client opening, direct data change and governance related to all the above activities Manage Access access provisioning and deprovisioning, role modification, superuser and privilege access management, OEM access management, third party access management, sensitive Tcode access, segregation of duty, periodic access review Training & Documentation : Conduct end-user training and workshops to ensure users understand security protocols and policies. Develop and maintain documentation of security configurations, role matrices, and process workflow Qualifications: 6+ years of experience as an SAP Security Consultant or similar role. Proven experience with SAP security implementation across multiple SAP modules. Hands-on experience with SAP GRC, SAP S/4HANA security, and Fiori authorization. Experience with role design, segregation of duties, and managing user authorizations in complex environments. Strong knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, role-based access control, and user management. Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver, SAP GUI, and SAP Basis. Proficiency in SAP GRC (Access Control, Process Control, Risk Management). Understanding of security audit and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR). Preferred Qualifications: SAP certification in Security or GRC. Experience with cloud-based SAP environments. Understanding of SAP HANA database security and encryption methods.
