POSITION SAP FSCD Business Analyst/FSCD Consultant LOCATION The preferred locations are Charlotte, NC; Morristown, NJ; and Purchase, NY. These locations will be considered: Chicago, IL; Colorado Springs, CO; Dallas, TX; Fargo, ND; Garden City, NY; Houston, TX; Jacksonville, IL; Lenexa, KS; Los Angeles, CA; Lubbock, TX; Mt Juliet, TN; New York, NY; Topeka, KS Hybrid role DURATION 6-12 Months ++ INTERVIEW TYPE Video VISA TYPE Any REQUIRED SKILLS SAP FSCD Business Analyst The SAP FSCD Business Analyst is responsible for the proactive identification, design, and support of business solutions with a focus on achieving business process efficiency. This role supports corporate growth through accurate and timely financial reporting. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the solicitation, documentation, and acquisition of sign-off on business requirements from all finance functions including technical accounting, treasury, tax, investments, and financial accounting, specifically focused on the collections and disbursements module (CD.) Serve as the primary liaison with the SAP development, configuration, and quality assurance teams for the implementation and IT testing of the approved design. Organize the creation and execution of a comprehensive inventory of UAT test cases with a focus on the efficient use of the testers time. Coordinate around their other responsibilities. Maintain knowledge of the Collections and Disbursements module (CD) functionalities, including broker reports, incoming and outgoing payments, account maintenance, installment plans, autoclearing, dunning and interfacing data to (CD.) Execute additional tasks as delegated, demonstrating flexibility and commitment. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of experience in the implementation of SAP financial applications including the Collection and Disbursement Module (CD) with all sub-components. 4+ years in the Insurance industry. In-depth knowledge of the SAP S4/HANA GL and the differences versus the ECC version. Proven business acumen, to engage users and understand their underlying requirements. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Success in virtual collection and finalization of business requirements, with cross-functional working groups. Ability to handle demanding workloads and balance multiple priorities to meet objectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance of Information Systems Management/or MBA highly preferred. Extra notes Needs someone with a Business Analyst background but also needs to be able to configure. Must have BA background - Needs to be able to put together the requirements and configure. Insurance background is required. Need to understand the process of putting together the requirements and working with the business. Needs to have experience with Collection and Disbursement side in the insurance industry they are willing to train in SAP if they used other platforms. They will cross-train them on FSRI and FICO in the future, but this position will initially be focusing on the CD area. There are a lot of things going on at Sompo. Needs someone who can really be a BA. Starting out as a 6 month contract to start. Onsite 3 days/wk in any location. Many in the SAP team reside in Charlotte, NC. They also have people in Purchase / UK office. Not concerned if the person isn't in the same office as long as they can go onsite to one of their locations.
