Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization for a large-scale data warehouse. Experience installing and configuring new SQL servers (preferably SQL Server 2016/2017 and above), and some experience in Azure or AWS cloud computing is preferred. Experience with backups, restores, security audits/access control, recovery models, Disaster Recovery Options (DR), database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, and Database Replication. Experience in writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. Understanding Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Indexes, and Views is essential. SQL Server/MS SQL is their core with ETL. They use Verscape (Data Warehousing Loads), SSIS, and Alteryx (Auditing). Any one of these is acceptable.
