Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver meaningful insights and support strategic decision-making within the healthcare commercial sector. Manage Power BI Premium capacities and tenant settings to support resource optimization and alignment with business requirements. Mentor and guide team members on Power BI best practices and complex platform functionalities. Required Technical Skills: Power BI Platform Mastery : Advanced knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Service, and Mobile, including experience with data gateways, Premium capacities, and tenant administration. Data Modeling and DAX Proficiency : Expertise in data modeling principles (e.g., star schema) and advanced DAX for efficient calculations and performance. Data Transformation and Dataflows : Skilled in Power Query/M and managing Power BI Dataflows for data transformation and consistency. Performance Optimization : Proven experience in optimizing Power BI performance, including data model tuning, query optimization, and capacity management. Visualization and Design Skills: Data Visualization Best Practices : Ability to design clear, insightful dashboards that adhere to data visualization best practices. Aesthetic and Usability Focus : Strong design skills to create intuitive and visually compelling layouts that effectively communicate data stories. Healthcare Industry Experience: Healthcare Commercial Data Familiarity : Experience in the healthcare sector, especially with commercial healthcare data, is preferred. Understanding of healthcare-specific data standards, privacy concerns, and common data sources is a plus. Soft Skills and Interpersonal Qualities: Excellent Communication Skills : Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
