| From: Rahaman Mohammed, Techgene Solutions LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: EMS MODELER Location: Allentown, PA (Remote with workshop visits to onsite) Model: Remote Type: Contract Must have 14+ Years experience Roles & Responsibilities Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Power Engineering, Computer Science Must have electrical Utilities experience, ideally working with real time systems such as SCADA, EMS, ADMS or OMS. Self-motivated and determined when interactive guidance is not available Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug screening Experience with real-time systems, real-time architectures and databases including modeling and revising data through software applications (GE e-terra source preferred) Model transmission and distribution sites including distributed generation resources Manage incoming requests and outgoing work for improvement, additions or corrections to the EMS/ADMS. Maintain ICCP tags/Object IDs, data parameters, and mapping to the relevant SCADA or Network Applications Manage ICCP permissions/access for transmission and generation companies to telemetry as needed for new equipment, retired equipment, or other changes Work with external companies to test data points Use a staging/QA system to thoroughly verify accuracy, quality & reliability of data before progressing to production Propose and implement methods or processes to drive higher quality control of SCADA/Network modeling.
