Participating in planning, installing, configuring, verifying, and migrating IBM Z DevOps solutions that uses robust toolsets to develop and maintain z/OS applications. Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understanding clients' main challenges and developing solutions that helps them reach true business value by working thru the phases of design, development integration, implementation, migration, and product support with a sense of urgency and conduct workshops. Required Technical and Professional Expertise * Expert level Programming skills: COBOL and Java. * Deep experience converting Cobol applications to Java on Z. * Expertise with z/OS and sub-systems fundamentals (inc. CICS, Db2, z/OS Connect) * Expertise in leading Z DevOps services engagements. * 10+ years of experience with IBM Z. * 10+ years of solution consulting or relevant industry experience. * Knowledge of IBM Watsonx Code Assistant for Z (WCA4z). * Experience with the following products will be highly regarded: Developer for z/OS (IDz), Enterprise Edition (IDzEE), Application Delivery Foundation for z/OS (ADFz), Application Discovery and Delivery Intelligence (ADDI), IBM Z Development and Test (ZD&T) and IBM Virtual Dev and Test for z/OS (ZVDT).
