As an Oracle PMS Opera Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing Oracles Opera Property Management System (PMS) solutions to meet the unique needs of the hospitality industry. This role involves working closely with clients, development teams, and project managers to ensure a seamless integration of Opera within the organizations IT infrastructure. Your expertise will drive process efficiency, scalability, and high-quality guest experiences. Responsibilities: Architecture & Design: Design scalable and efficient solutions using Oracle Opera PMS to meet client-specific needs. Develop architecture roadmaps, technical documentation, and system designs for Opera PMS integration with other enterprise systems. Ensure solutions are compliant with hospitality industry standards and regulatory requirements. Implementation & Deployment: Lead the deployment and configuration of Oracle Opera modules, customizing settings to optimize functionality. Manage system migration, upgrades, and updates with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Oversee data migration, ensuring accuracy and data integrity throughout the process. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and refine business processes related to reservations, billing, guest management, and reporting. Partner with IT, security, and operations teams to align Opera PMS architecture with overall business goals. Conduct workshops and presentations for client stakeholders, demonstrating solution capabilities and gathering feedback. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7+ years experience in the hospitality technology sector, with extensive experience in Oracle Opera PMS architecture and deployment. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Oracle Opera PMS (Cloud and/or on-premises) and related Oracle Hospitality solutions. Proficient in integrations with ERP, CRM, and other hotel management systems. Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases, with strong data modeling and analysis skills. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Analytical problem-solver with a strategic approach to system architecture and design. Preferred Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Opera PMS Certification is a plus.
