Three days a week onsite, Tues, Wed, Thurs, with Monday and Friday being remote Engineering Product Owner needed in Austin, TX for a 12-month Contract. Responsibilities: The EPO will work with Engineering teams closely through the design and development phase to finalize functional requirements, prepare design playback and demos for the UAT team once the project is implemented. Create a timeline for the requirements discussion sessions to identify and close the gaps in requirements document Ensure that Accessibility requirements are addressed and included in the Functional Design Ensure that Security requirements are addressed and included in the Functional Design Plan and facilitate the project playback to all interested parties prior to the start of feature development Manage support - Developer, solve the problem, Solve the technical problems Manage the technical aspects of a product. Liaison between the business and technical teams, ensuring that the product meets customer needs and technical requirements Scope must include participation and support of reviews , testing at various stages of the project, and production cutover and warranty support. Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads to deliver a detailed functional design document to the EPM and applicable engineering teams to implement, based on a comprehensive BRD and gap analysis done for the project. Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure that there is a comprehensive Business Requirements Document, BRD. Strike a balance between business asks and engineering complexity Required Skills: Engineering Product Owner with 5+ years prior experience in an enterprise company. Must have exceptional domain knowledge of e-commerce systems Good understanding of web technologies, development of the software, and corresponding artifacts. Basic understanding of Java, Spring and MongoDB This role is a part of Engineering team in the Project Management Organization Must be able to present to a large audience with confidence and clarity Ability to elicit explicit and implicit requirements from business stakeholders Strong analytical skills and ability to think through user journeys and use case scenarios Strong communication skills are a must have - both written and verbal; ability to communicate with business and engineering stakeholders in their respective language Keywords: Texas Engineering Product Owner - Austin, TX [email protected] |
