Job Title: .NET Developer with Azure Experience (PALM Readiness) Location: 605 Suwannee Street, Tallahassee, FL 32399 (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite) Visa: USC, GC Duration: 12 months Preffered : Worked prior with State Clients Job Description We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with Azure expertise to join the PALM Readiness Project. This role will focus on updating FDOTs Procurement systems, including the Procurement Development Application (PDA), Consultant Evaluation (CE) Application, and Professional Prequalification Application (PPQ), to align with the new Florida Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management (PALM) system. This position is ideal for a developer with experience in state-level projects and a strong background in Azure and .NET technologies. Key Responsibilities Code Remediation: Modify and update code for FDOTs procurement applications to meet PALM requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with the FDOT Procurement Office and IT teams to design and implement technology solutions that align with the PALM system. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between development teams, FDOTs Procurement Office, and the Office of Information Technology, ensuring all changes meet stakeholder expectations. Design & Documentation: Develop functional specifications and designs for application modifications required by PALM integration. Quality Assurance: Ensure all modifications follow best practices in quality assurance and control. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience: At least 3 years of systems analysis and programming experience, with demonstrated proficiency in: .NET (C#) for application development SQL and Azure SQL databases Azure Cloud Services and DevOps practices Skills and Abilities Communication: Ability to convey technical information clearly to stakeholders and team members. Customer Service: Skilled at understanding and meeting customer needs and addressing issues effectively. Decision Making: Exhibits sound, well-informed decision-making skills. Adaptability: Flexible and open to changing requirements, conditions, and processes. Interpersonal Skills: Displays professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
