If you are interested, please share resume on my email [email protected] Job Title: ETL Tester Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid Opportunity) Client: Infosys Experience Required: Minimum 8 years Employment Type: Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester to join our team in Boston, MA. This is a hybrid opportunity, offering flexibility in the work environment. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in ETL testing, a strong background in database management, and proficiency in PL/SQL (preferred but not mandatory). Candidates with prior experience in the financial domain will have a distinct advantage. Key Responsibilities: Perform ETL testing to validate and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data transfers between systems. Develop and execute test cases to ensure data transformation logic is correct. Work closely with ETL developers and business analysts to understand data requirements and transformation rules. Validate the data pipeline for data accuracy, completeness, and quality throughout the process. Perform regression and functional testing to ensure ETL processes are functioning as expected. Identify and document defects and issues found during testing and track them to resolution. Create and maintain test scripts, data sets, and testing environments. Analyze large datasets for anomalies and errors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DBAs, and business teams to improve data quality and ETL processes. Create detailed test reports and maintain comprehensive documentation. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of experience in ETL Testing or similar roles. Strong experience with SQL and database management (preferably Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL). Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, etc.) and the ability to write and execute test cases. Proficiency in PL/SQL is a plus. Strong understanding of data quality concepts and testing methodologies. Experience working with large datasets and troubleshooting data-related issues. Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and business teams. Preferred Skills: Financial industry experience (e.g., banking, insurance, investment) is a significant plus. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies. Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
