This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining in-circuit test strategies to ensure the reliability and quality of our electronic products. Key Responsibilities: In-Circuit Testing Development: Design and develop in-circuit test strategies and fixtures for PCB assemblies. Create and maintain test plans, specifications, and documentation. Collaborate with design engineers to identify test requirements and improve testability. SMT and DFMA: Apply knowledge of SMT processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Work with cross-functional teams to implement DFMA principles to improve manufacturability and reduce production costs. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards throughout the testing process. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for test failures. Maintain accurate records of test results and quality metrics. Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and debug PCB assemblies, using a variety of testing equipment and methodologies. Provide technical support to production teams and assist in resolving production issues. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test engineering and electronics manufacturing. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Proven experience in in-circuit testing, particularly with PCB assemblies. Strong understanding of SMT processes and DFMA principles. Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards. Proficiency in using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, ICT testers). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
